This tool includes three sample policies that define guidelines concerning confidential company information.
In these samples, confidential information includes all information not publicly announced that could reasonably affect the market price of the company’s stock if it were disclosed to the public. Examples of such information include expected financial results, new product announcements of a significant nature, significant product defects or modifications, material pricing changes, stock splits, new equity or debt offerings, acquisitions, significant litigation exposure, and changes in dividend policy.
