Military Leave of Absence Policy

The following sample outlines a set of policies and procedures for military leave of absence.

The purpose of this sample is to allow military employees to actively serve their country. This policy grants leaves of absence to employees based upon the needs of the employee as well as the needs of the company. Some of the procedures include: employees who are subject to annual military training or call-up for emergency service should make this fact known at the time of their employment to their supervisor; military employees may take a leave of absence to comply with state or federal orders for active service or to attend drills and may be requested immediately upon employment.
